Local area

We are surrounded by millions of trees. The woods stretch way up north to Bagni di Lucca and over several valleys to the east and west. This has a huge bearing on the quality of the air. In these woods live wild boar, deer, porcupine, badger fox and so on.

Adjoining the stream on the way up from Collodi are 13 working paper mills. These are now all recycle plants for waste paper and provide much needed employment in this rural area.

A peaceful 3 weeks R&R in a magical location. Looking down over the stunning valley with the trees unfurling was amazing. House well equipped and comfortable
